Matthew Haag is an American gaming executive and former professional gamer who had captained the professional esports and entertainment organization OpTic Gaming in the 2014 Call of Duty: Ghosts season and the 2014–15 Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season, playing the objective support role. He had won the 2011 Call of Duty XP World Championship and the ‘Gold’ medal at the 2014 Major League Gaming (MLG) X Games. After deciding to quit competitive gaming in 2015 to focus on content creation, he had founded 100 Thieves (100T), a lifestyle brand and gaming organization based in Los Angeles. He has since co-owned the team and served as its CEO. In parallel, he runs a Twitch channel where he has amassed more than 2 million followers and a YouTube channel where he has garnered more than 3.5 million subscribers. He is popular on other social media platforms as well with more than 1.5 million followers on Instagram and more than 3 million followers on Twitter. In May 2016, a book titled OpTic Gaming: The Making of eSports Champions, which he had co-written was published.
